Allen Otto is an Emmy Award-nominated filmmaker with over a decade of experience creating award-winning Documentaries, TV series, Commercials and Premium Content with an emphasis on politics, travel, identity, and culture.

He has produced projects for VICE Media, CNN, HBO, and Discovery+. He is the co-creator of the award-winning documentary series Gaycation with Elliot Page,  worked across the first three seasons of the Emmy winning HBO show VICE and was part of the team responsible for developing and producing a new slate of original programming for the launch of VICELAND under the direction of Spike Jonze. In 2025, he released his debut feature film On Guard: A Story of American Youth.

In addition to his editorial work, he has produced campaigns for brands and institutions such as the Chamber Music Society at Lincoln Center, AT&T, Verizon, Sprite, Montefiore Hospital, Diesel, Adidas, and DePOP.
